Walls, ceiling, the garage door itself, and every gap around them. Top plates, rim joist, penetrations, the perimeter of the overhead door. This is the piece almost every other garage company skips, and it is the piece that decides whether the heat you install stays in the room.

Where everyone should startFinished
Everything above, plus drywall hung, taped, finished and painted, and better overhead lighting. It stops reading like a shell and starts reading like a room. Some people stop here. Some want the studs left open for shelving.
Adds finishConditioned
Everything above, plus a ductless mini split sized to the space and installed by a licensed HVAC partner, a coated floor, and the outlets a workshop or a gym actually needs. Heat in January, air conditioning in July, on its own thermostat.

That order matters. Anyone in West Michigan can coat a slab. The reason your garage is 21 degrees in January has nothing to do with the floor, and a coating company has no way to fix it.

Three to five days on site for a typical two car garage. You will know who is coming and when, every day.

Together, before we leave. Anything not right gets fixed before we call it done.

That is the envelope done properly: walls, ceiling, garage door and air sealing. Finishing the walls or adding heat and a coated floor costs more, and we price those separately so you can see what each one buys you. Where you land depends on the size of the garage, the condition of the slab and how much heat the space needs. The estimate is free and the number in it is the number.
